 Learning Objectives
A student completing this lesson should be able to:
  1. Define the role of geography in biblical studies;
  2. Discuss the development of the field of biblical historical geography from 19th C onwards;
  3. Discuss the various viewpoints on the importance and geographic extent of the 'promised land';
  4. Locate and explain the importance of the the sites acquired, used or established by the Patriarchs in the land of Canaan.
