Each student is assigned an adviser who assists the student
in planning a schedule to meet their educational needs and advises them
concerning any problem that may arise. Students are encouraged to contact their
advisers periodically.
The required schedule of classes for onsite first-year
(freshmen) students at Charlotte is below. Because of transfer credit some
courses may have to be substituted. Any departure from the required schedule
requires approval of the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.
Students who have completed a standard one year course sequence in College
Composition meet the requirement of THL 111 and 112. Students who have
completed a year of basic speech at the college level have meet the
requirement of THL 150ab. In both cases the University will make a
determination in a student's transfer credit evaluation. See
Transfer
Credit for transfer credit process, rules and procedures. See
Suggested Full-time Schedule for completing the B.Th. degree.
