ATLA: Digital Resources for the Study of Religion The Cooperative Digital Resources Initiative (CDRI) of ATLA and the Association of Theological Schools is a repository of digital resources contributed by member libraries. The CDRI database provides access to digital images of woodcuts, photographs, slides, papyri, coins, maps, postcards, manuscripts, lithographs, sermons, shape-note tune books, and various forms of Christian art, architecture, and iconography. Biblical Archaeology Online Archive The archive contains issues of the BAR (Biblical Archaeology Review), BR (Bible Review), AO (Archaeology Odyssey), Ancient Israel (From Abraham to the Roman Destruction of the Temple), and various other Biblical Archeology Society publications and resources. Research in Ministry: Index to DMin and DMiss Project Reports and Theses (RIM?) online RIM? Online is a freely available database that indexes DMin and DMiss projects from reporting schools of theology accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. Indexing began in 1981. Author, title, project advisor, institution, and subject access are provided. In addition, an abstract for each project is included when one has been provided by the author. ProQuest Religion is a comprehensive resource for students researching religious issues and perspectives. The database includes over 150 titles, with more than 130 available in full text. Designed to meet the needs of both religious studies programs and general library collections, the database is a convenient source of religious news and information. The database provides details on doctrines and philosophies, reports on religious history, and related archeology. ProQuest Religion also covers formal theological studies and commentary on topics of general interest from the perspectives of specific religions. Primary faiths represented in the database are Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism. Titles include: The Christian Century, The Japan Christian Review, Judaism, and The Muslim World. |
