To the right is a list of
those courses that a student must complete for a Certificate in New
Testament Studies.
The Certificate in New
Testament Studies program of study provides a comprehensive overview of the New
Testament, designed to be completed online in one or two years,
preparing men and women for Christian leadership and service.
On successful completion of this program, students:
• Can demonstrate the veracity and reliability of the Bible;
• Understand and can explain the New Testament and its implication and
application;
• Demonstrate and exemplify Christian leadership and values; and
• Know and demonstrate understanding of biblical doctrines.
Upon entering the
Certificate in New Testament Program a student
is assigned an adviser who will be available for program advisement
and career information. An adviser helps a student create a workable
plan to meet his or her educational objectives within a
reasonable time period.
This certificate normally requires
one academic year (two semesters) to complete on a part-time basis
(see Suggested Schedule).
Those who plan to complete the certificate over two or more years can
take one or two courses a semester. These courses are not available in
the summer session.
For the conferring of the
certificate students should apply for graduation in the semester they plan
to graduate. Students may obtain an Application for Graduation
from the Registrar. This application must be filed with the Registrar
by midterm for graduation that semester.
