NUTR 207 Introductory
Nutrition (3-0-0-3) This is a basic nutrition course with emphasis on nutrients and their relationship to the human body, including human nutritional requirements and nutritive values of various foods. Key issues include dietary standards for diet adequacy and healthy eating for prevention of chronic diseases. Life Cycle (3-0-0-3) This course deals with human dietary needs and the development of diets as applied to the various stages of the human life cycle. Emphasis is on nutritional issues and chronic-disease prevention in adult life.
