The University is committed to the highest standards of openness, probity and accountability. It endeavors to provide its students and other members of the interested public with information that is complete, accurate, and clear. The U.S. Internal Revenue Service encourages every exempt organization to adopt and monitor procedures to ensure that its Form 1023 and Form 990, annual reports, and financial statements, are complete and accurate, posted on its public website, and made available to the public upon request. Accordingly, the University makes the following important information available to the general public, as required by state and federal laws and/or university policy and regulations.

Forms 990 and 1023

The Internal Revenue Code requires organizations exempt from federal income tax to make its Form 1023 exemption application and annual Form 990 available for public inspection.  These documents are available for review by interested parties at the following office:

Conflict of Interest Policy

Tuition Guaranty Bond

The University maintains a guaranty bond to cover the full amount of prepaid tuition for all students. The bond is available for review by interested parties at the following office:

Please contact this office if you would like to access and view the bond during normal business hours. The bond is a guarantee of the refund of tuition to students in the event that the University ceases to operate. Any student of the University at the time of such an event will be entitled to a full refund from the insurance company. The bond is a minimum of $10,000. The amount of the bond at any point in time is equal to the highest level of pre-paid tuition which occurred during the most recent fiscal year. The bond is onfile with the Clerk of the Superior Court in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
